It's almost Christmas once again, but that's not what I'm attempting to save money for at this time. My savings goals are much bigger. In putting this post together I ran across one from 2011 that seems to fit with I am aiming for so I included it. The different colors are the notes and updates that are current, and today's post.

I was looking through posts from 2012 and came across one talking about the price of gas. During September of 2012 prices were at 3.50 a gallon on average. Right now it's about 2.50 a gallon on the low end of the price range. That's out of my budget range, but we will make it work. Let's figure out how we are going to achieve making it work.
The light bill I paid this month was $118.30, now it's time to lower it. That is out of my budget range at the moment. Let's examine the difference in previous bills and how I can lower it back to those amounts. It's going to take a little bit of work but I can do it.
Yes, all those things have to be purchased. They are not cheap. We have to get a nice little stock built up so that we can save some money during the school year. Not one of those it's taking over my house stockpiles, just enough so that I don't have to go to the store for the same thing repeatedly. Pull-ups are hard to stock up on because of the initial expense and the fact that the child is still growing but I know people that could use them in the near future.
