There are still animals in my orbit, or rather animals have returned to my orbit since they aren't ours. We get visits from the cat that lives downstairs, who promptly makes himself at home each and every time. Theresa worries about how well he is cared for while he is in our new home visiting.
There were a lot of goals set during the last year and looking back the largest of them was achieved; now it's time to move onto the next set of goals and reevaluation of the ones that weren't achieved to determine if they are worth continuing toward or if they require altering. Planning for them was obsessive, and now there are more things that have to be done which require reevaluating the goals and priorities set.
Priorities
- Find new physicians for each of us. We need medical care and having a provider is mandatory for that. I am waiting on the replacement for Theresa's insurance card and the application for mine so I can actually afford doctor's visits and medication. The school needs a new assessment, apparently her diagnosis is to old? I'm confused there but we'll figure it out.
- Employment. I'm thinking self employment is my best option, or work from home because I don't have childcare options that work with the hours I would have to work. I need school hours, or a flex schedule. The options have to be within walking distance for me to be able to get back and forth.
- Bills, bills and more bills. Moving expenses created more bills, temporary though they may be they are causing a bit of stress right now as I attempt to budget and fit it all in without sacrificing something vital without realizing it.
- School year expenses. This year is going to be interesting as I try to figure out what the kiddo is going to need from month to month. I could ask for a list of all the expenses for the year but I keep forgetting.
