- Fear that I could not get it put together on my own.
- The lack of motivation because I was working for other people and afraid of the income loss as I put it together.
- I had (still have) a few of the upkeep. ( I am slowly getting over this.)
Looking Back to 2013
OK I have a need for emergency savings in a large amount rather quickly. I estimate I need up to $200 a month for the next six to seven months cut from my budget in order to get what I need accomplished. That's a tall order for my budget at the moment. *Saving for an emergency is still something that we have to figure out. There are always going to be things that come up, things such as illness that make it difficult to work which means that the expenses have to fit into what you are earning and they never do.
The vitamin D at the moment, only $5 per month. Figuring out when to the her vitamin D checked is difficult. I believe they are out of school the 12th so I will call to see if I can get her in then, or on the same day as her next dentist visit. That's the week of thanksgiving. *These goals were not met at the time due to circumstance and interference beyond my control. Now I am more likely to be able to meet my goals provided that I create and stick to a realistic plan.
I am seeking supplements in gummy form especially the fish oil. I am figuring my budget and looking into redesigning my blogs. I think pages on a single blog instead of multiple blogs will be better. I just have no idea how to go about moving previous post to the new website. *I have managed to get to that single site with pages, as you can see. Odds and Ends has stuck because there is someone of everything here as you will see while you look around.
Getting Rid of Luxury:
The cable has been off for at least a year. When I cut it off ignorant people asked why, as if I could eat the shows that came on. The cutest part? This person makes less than I do, lives with their mother and pays no bills. They simply spend money partying, borrow money to party and cater to their teenage daughter. I find it rather amusing, they were considered mature at 14 for doing every thing but what they should do. *Some people never change, or understand that do not know everything about you without being you. There are those who will try to control your budget based on what they want. Do not allow them to influence you.
Strangely I take pleasure in knowing that I am nothing like them.
Well, it's Sunday, I need to read and spend some time with my kid while she is being a little angel.
Thinking About it Now
It is strange to me how I no longer know what it is that I need to make up deficiencies in the budget or how much I need to save for emergencies now. I know what I need to cover the basics but those aren't all of my bills. The basics are rent, lights, phone, internet (I work online) and food. They may be a couple small bills I left out but those only come to $20 together.
The light bill is in my control some days. There are a few lazy habits that I need to work on changing but for the most part I am doing pretty well controlling what I do. The air conditioner is probably my biggest cause of increased light bills because I don't want it to be as hot inside as it is outside.
I have a lot to do and I'm still confused as to how to go about it, but I find it odd that my life is truly going in circles.
