I streamed Grey's Anatomy because I miss it on Thursday nights. I cut off Sling because I wasn't watching it, and I cancelled Hulu because I wasn't using it either. Roku has channels I can stream the same shows on. I just need to figure out how to watch the CBS shows I'm missing but don't miss that much.
I worked on cleaning the house to get it back to the state it should be in. It was a disaster area after all the shipments for the holidays and birthday arrived. I spent a lot of time breaking down boxes and tossing them in storage. I also filled up a number of store bags with discarded items, took the kid's old bicycle to the dumpster (she got a new one) and scrubbed like I've never scrubbed before because the place was making me itch. (I don't have fleas it is a sign of my nerves.)
Putting Things Together
There were some things that had to be put together so I cleaned out some areas to make room for them. It required thoroughly cleaning the area before hand so I would not obsess about whatever might be behind it. It was interesting to put everything together alone without even asking anyone to help. I didn't even pretend that someone would be willing to inconvenience themselves to assist me.
What did you do to kill time over the holiday? How did you prepare for 2018? New year is a new start after all, or so they say.
