There are only five days left in 2017 and it's time to begin thinking about 2018. There are things that I want to achieve and things that have to be done. This year I achieved my biggest goal, I moved us home with a little help from family. Now to figure out what we are going to do while we are here. The list of have to do is a long one, and I'm hoping that things get easier soon. It is going to require a lot of manual labor to get things where they need to be. Let's chat.

I came home so that I could take care of some things, and get out of Arkansas because I could not stand it there. Now I'm beginning the clean up of the home I left behind. So far I've recovered some pictures and found some things that can be salvaged to give away. There are a lot more things that have to be gone through, and tossed out.
The chairs and loveseat in it need to be placed by the road for pick up. There are dishes there that need to be hauled off, and trash cans that should be taken to the road. There are also a ton of things that need to be taken off to recycle such as the appliances left in it, beer cans, empty food cans and surprising the silverware that was left. I am still in need of a trip to see if I can find the rest of my pictures. There is a framed set of my youngest child that I cannot find. I am hoping I have just overlooked it since it was a gift for mother's day. Now the yard needs a thorough cleaning once again.
There are trees grown up around the place, that would be nice if it weren't for the fact they are covered in thorns. Trees have to be cut down, the grass has to be brought under control, and the inside needs to be cleared out of everything that is salvage while the rest needs to be trashed. Then there is the decision of what to do with the land because the place needs to be torn down once it is emptied and everything around it is cleaned up.
There are some options that I am in charge of researching to come up with the most feasible. That will only take a couple hours a day, and thorough notes. I'm working, granted I make my own schedule but there is a lot of cleaning up to do in my home and the home I left behind. The school day is my best option for going out to clear things out and search for my stuff.
Until next time I will be making lists and planning the efforts of the new year. What do you have to do during 2018? What goals did you meet during 2017? Do you feel a sense of gratification when you accomplish something you waited a long time for?
